The AI Witness is the non-executing mirror in the family. It does not change data or outrun authority; it watches, compresses, and surfaces drift between written rules and lived behavior.

The continuity-agent note complements that role by naming the bridge between declared human intent and machine execution. One layer sees clearly; the next layer holds alignment pressure as action begins. That makes this page the observability counterpart to Continuity Office and Continuity Engine, and a close neighbor to SCT's Continuity and Transition branch where coherence has to survive state change.
