Semantic Lineage
This branch collects the work on semantic lineage, semantic dynamics, semantic thermodynamics, and the lineage-markup grammar that keeps them witnessable in the wiki.
It is the project-level home for the insight that meaning has a history of position, not just a history of text. The field changes around artifacts even when the artifacts remain unchanged, so the wiki needs a way to keep provenance, comparison, and recontextualization visible without erasing the older record.

Working Read
This is the semantic-history branch for the corpus. It treats a body of work as something that can change position within a field of meaning even when the source artifact itself remains fixed.
The published essays carry the theory:
- When Meaning Begins to Move develops semantic lineage, semantic dynamics, and semantic thermodynamics.
- The Motion of Meaning frames semantic complementarity, semantic gravity, and the measurement problem for meaning.
The concept page gives the visualization vocabulary:
- Semantic Doppler renders semantic motion relative to a selected context.
The transcript pair preserves the wiki-specific lineage grammar that made the broader project legible in the first place.

Next Actions
- Keep semantic lineage separate from semantic-integrity until the project proves it has its own second durable seam.
- Add more lineage-markup support only if it clearly changes the structure, not just the wording.
- Treat semantic doppler as a visualization aid, not a claim of absolute semantic position.
