Telic Fields G.5 — Projection, Preference Inference, and Epistemic Boundaries
Parent lineage: The Telic Field Papers
Source artifacts
- G.5 projection, preference-inference, and epistemic-boundary review
- F.4/G.5 boundary and evidence matrix
- F.4/G.5 candidate Telic Projection Record
- Complete F.4/G.5 intake package
The complete package passed its internal SHA-256 manifest before intake. The ZIP hash is e9ee64251c0af73a1833924134bc3a6a6ff68a33b472262d1a832df064f62c8a.
Working finding
G.5 places telic projection estimation beside requirements elicitation, intent recognition, user modeling, preference learning, inverse reinforcement learning, theory of mind, construct validity, calibration, clinical formulation, and data minimization.
The review separates accuracy from validity, confidence from authority, available information from interpretive permission, and record deletion from model unlearning. It retains source authority as privileged self-description without infallibility, requires action authority to be separately grounded, and treats observed behavior and model inference as evidence rather than transparent access to preference.
G.5 establishes projection expiration, revocation, correction, inferential privacy, multidimensional uncertainty, and minimum-necessary projection as boundary requirements. It remains a research and claim-boundary artifact, not a production specification.
Roadmap transition
G.5 is complete as a working review package. F.5 and G.6 are now installed as the next conceptual and research pair. The next stage is G.7, Time, Identity, Commitment, and Future Standing Review, alongside F.6.
