H/I Terminology Freeze

Frozen core terms

Center

A locus that bears consequence or holds a relevant standing relation.

A model instance is not encoded as a human center.

Field

The living and partially knowable relation among centers, possible futures, constraints, purposes, dependencies, and consequences.

A field is not identical to any stored field map.

Source

An attributable artifact, statement, observation, record, or event from which another representation derives.

Projection

A bounded representation of a field or center made available for a stated purpose and scope.

Mirror

A receiver-attributable interpretation of a projection.

A mirror is not a direct source statement.

Standing

The basis on which a center, representative, authority, expert, witness, or affected party belongs in the governed field.

Standing is not factual correctness and does not create automatic veto.

Purpose

The declared reason an operation, loop, or deployment recruits resources and affects centers.

Protected condition

A scoped condition that cannot enter ordinary compensatory tradeoff without a stronger review or override process.

Authority

A scoped basis for permitting an operation.

Candidate bases include consent, delegation, contract, license, mandate, fiduciary duty, lawful public authority, and emergency authority.

Consent

A scoped authorization by a center with relevant standing and authority over the affected relation.

Consent is not complete field disclosure.

Role

The assigned operational function of a human, institution, model, or tool within a governed process.

Route

A candidate movement through the field, including affected centers, costs, irreversibility, authority requirements, review, and exit.

Gate

An explicit evaluation of prerequisites for action.

Action

A witnessed operation that changes an external or governing state.

Consequence

An observed or attributable effect borne by one or more centers.

Witness

A bounded record that preserves the chain by which a representation gained action power.

Witness does not imply total visibility.

Contest

A challenge to source, interpretation, standing, authority, route, action, or consequence.

Correction

A witnessed change to the operative representation or governance state that preserves prior history where it governed action.

Repair

An outcome-directed response to breach or harm, including restoration, correction, compensation, reversal, notice, model change, policy change, or retirement.

Release

The ending or narrowing of future authority while preserving bounded historical witness.

Withdrawal

A request or exercise that ends or narrows future collection, use, memory, training, deployment, or participation within scope.

Withdrawal is not synonymous with exact machine unlearning.

Succession

A constitutional transition in which a successor center, operator, model, or institution may inherit capability, records, authority, restrictions, and obligations.

Dissolution

The ending of a loop or institution with residual-state and obligation accounting.

Retirement

The ending of a model or deployment's authority to operate, with residual memory, credentials, records, claims, and duties accounted for.

The following remain candidate or research terms and must not be treated as settled universal types:

• universal telos;
• complete telic field;
• quantified telic adequacy;
• context carrying capacity as one scalar;
• automatic protected-condition classifier;
• universal legitimacy score;
• universal consent score;
• universal community representative;
• exact semantic ownership;
• consentful-model purity status.
