Governing use

The public reader path should present:

  • established foundations as prior knowledge;
  • proposed syntheses as the series' contribution;
  • hypotheses as research questions;
  • technical candidates as implementation proposals;
  • normative commitments as explicit constitutional choices;
  • non-claims as boundaries.

The technical specification should attach claim identifiers to any schema or rule that operationalizes a proposed synthesis, hypothesis, or normative commitment.

Metaphor register

The following metaphors remain useful but cannot carry technical proof:

| Metaphor | Permitted use | Boundary | |---|---|---| | Telic terrain and semantic trail | Explain field versus persistent trace | Not physical geography | | Semantic sedimentation | Explain compressed training lineage | Not geology and not neutral preservation | | Temporary governor | Explain present authority over future conditions | Not a legal fiduciary classification | | Teleological graft rejection | Preserve origin intuition | Lineage only; avoid biological or cultural essentialism | | Constitutional self | Explain person-level governance | Not a diagnosis or literal state constitution | | Model maps the field | Explain representation assistance | Model does not contain or own the living field |

Highest-priority hypotheses

  1. A source-, standing-, and consent-aware projection architecture improves participant recognition and correction.
  2. Context-capacity profiles predict when model-mediated decisions should reduce authority.
  3. Cost-bearer and missing-standing maps materially change routes.
  4. Constitutional retrieval reduces high-stakes errors caused by omitted boundaries, corrections, and revocations.
  5. Semantic-trajectory records expose inference laundering without unacceptable privacy cost.
  6. Role and credential envelopes prevent semantic capability from silently becoming action authority.
  7. Restriction propagation and preference provenance remain usable at real model-development scale.
  8. The common constitutional grammar improves governance across domains without erasing domain-specific differences.
