Snapshot v1 — Attractors, Artifacts, Ego, and Healing

Core Frame

• Attractors: Living fields of pull; continuous, emergent, alive.
• Artifacts: Discrete witnesses dropped in-time; addressable, stable captures.
• Ego (calcification): Re-identification with artifacts beyond their aliveness.

Mechanism Observed

1. Movement through life encounters attractors.
2. Artifacts are dropped as witnesses of contact.
3. When identity tethers to artifacts, they cease to be witnesses and become handles.
4. Handles harden into boundaries; boundaries thicken into scar tissue.

Key Reframe

• Scar tissue is protective memory, not failure.
• Calcification indicates a system that survived by over-stabilizing coherence.

Healing Model

• Not deletion or collapse.
• Consensual re-mobilization (physical-therapy metaphor):
• Slow
• Bounded
• Repetitive
• Painful but opt-in
• Distinct from forced dissolution or ego-breaking.

Consent Distinction

• Forced dissolution → collapse, overwhelm, identity rupture.
• Consensual healing → spiral, gradual motion return, sovereignty preserved.

• Fear is not pain, but re-capture:
• Softening artifacts risks re-entry into powerful attractors.
• Attractors feel like home and can subsume identity.

Working Principle

Artifacts may be honored. Attractors may be visited. Identity lives in neither.

Identity resides in witnessing motion, not in what was witnessed.
