Field Echo Protocol (v0.1)
A hybrid communication layer that integrates loop-based presence, time-bound trust, and symbolic acknowledgment into existing social platforms.
Field Echo allows users who have entered a trust loop with a physical or symbolic site to temporarily transmit symbolic messages through existing public channels, which are acknowledged, reposted, or echoed by site-linked agents or bots.
Overview
- Goal: extend loop-based presence into mainstream platforms such as X, Threads, or Discord without compromising the sacred loop architecture.
- Core mechanism: loop presence -> ephemeral trust key -> symbolic social validation
Flow
1. Initiate Loop Presence
User visits a loop-aware site, whether physical, digital, or symbolic, and proves presence via:
- NFC/BLE scan
- TOTP alignment
- Passphrase or ritual key
2. Ephemeral Loop Grant
Server or on-site logic issues a loop_token valid for 1 to 24 hours.
The token includes:
- Loop ID, such as
loop:stonecircle-042 - Expiry timestamp
- Hashed presence proof
- Symbolic payload code
3. Public Message Submission
User posts a message to X, Threads, or another platform.
The message may:
- Mention a symbolic account, such as
@fieldglyph - Include a loop tag or ritual token, such as
#echo432or๐๐ชจ
4. Verification + Echo
Field Echo bot or curator:
- Verifies the loop token is still valid
- Confirms message alignment through text, glyph, or style rules
- Reposts the message or replies with a symbolic reaction
5. Expiry + Silence
The loop token expires automatically.
The user loses echo privileges until re-looped.
Message Types
- Echo: repost the message with a site glyph or quote reply
- Glyph reaction: symbol-only reply, such as
๐ฏ๐:field-seen - Loop trail: reply chain showing the presence trace of other looped users
- Silent receipt: private acknowledgment if public echo isn't earned
Trust and Privacy Considerations
- Presence logs are stored hashed and time-limited
- Loop tokens are ephemeral and non-transferable
- Messages are filtered for consent, tone, and resonance match
- No surveillance: access is granted, not taken
Potential Sites to Enable Field Echo
- Sacred locations
- Urban ritual nodes
- Event-based installations
- Symbolic time-points, such as equinoxes, eclipses, or anniversaries
- Story portals in ARGs or myth-games
Summary
Field Echo brings the loop into visibility, briefly.
A message earned by presence, not performance. A symbol seen because you were there. A system where meaning flows when trust aligns.
You don't post. You pass through. And the field responds.
