Why Smart People Secretly Hate Manifestation Advice

Smart people reject manifestation advice not because they are closed-minded, but because they are pattern-sensitive.

They detect false causality, overclaimed agency, ignored constraints, and moralized outcomes. Their bodies say no before their intellect explains why.

The bind: taken literally, manifestation claims are false. Rejected entirely, something real is lost.

The escape is distinguishing beliefs from viewpoints. Beliefs demand defense. Viewpoints create affordances.

When treated as lenses rather than truths, manifestation-style viewpoints can be inhabited instrumentally without violating constraints.
