Stories That Feed on Energy
A 2–3 Minute ULiUA Talk
---
(Opening – 15 seconds)
I want to share a simple idea that quietly explains a lot about anger, outrage, conflict—and relief.
It’s this:
Some stories don’t just describe reality. They feed on the energy they create.
And once you see that, you can’t unsee it.
---
(Setup – 30 seconds)
Imagine you hear a loud noise.
Before you think anything, your body releases energy. Just raw arousal.
That part is ancient. Necessary.
Then your mind asks: What was that?
And almost instantly, a story snaps into place:
- “That was disrespectful.”
- “That’s a threat.”
- “This is unjust.”
The story doesn’t create the energy.
It aims it.
---
(Key Turn – 40 seconds)
Here’s the surprising part.
When a story implies stakes—danger, violation, moral urgency—your system releases more energy to deal with it.
So meaning doesn’t just explain sensation.
Meaning multiplies it.
And that’s where certain stories become dangerous.
---
(Core Insight – 45 seconds)
Some stories require that energy in order to stay alive.
Anger stories need insults. Fear stories need threats. Outrage stories need villains.
If they ever stopped finding triggers, they would collapse.
So they can’t.
A story that feeds on the energy it creates must keep creating more.
That’s not a character flaw.
It’s a feedback loop.
---
(Fractal Expansion – 30 seconds)
This loop shows up everywhere:
- Inside a single thought
- In relationships
- In families
- In media
- In politics
At every level, the same pattern:
More certainty. Less curiosity. Faster activation. Higher energy cost.
That’s what a spiral feels like.
---
(Why We Get Stuck – 20 seconds)
This is why facts don’t calm people down.
You’re not challenging beliefs.
You’re threatening the fuel supply.
And the system reacts accordingly.
---
(ULiUA Entry – 35 seconds)
This is where ULiUA comes in.
Unconditional Love Includes Unconditional Acceptance.
Not as a moral command—but as an exit ramp.
Acceptance does one precise thing:
It removes the justification for extra energy.
No villain. No emergency. No amplification.
The loop starves.
---
(Practical Moment – 30 seconds)
Here’s the move, in real time:
- Feel the energy in your body.
- Gently name the story: “The story says this is dangerous.”
- Ask: “Is this meaning adding fuel?”
- Withdraw urgency, not care.
- Let the energy pass without weaponizing it.
That’s not suppression.
That’s freedom.
---
(Closing – 20 seconds)
Most dominant stories don’t need to be defeated.
They need to stop being fed.
Unconditional Love Includes Unconditional Acceptance because only acceptance breaks self-feeding loops.
Not by force.
But by letting energy finally rest.
Thank you.
