There is Regard.

Regard is not light. Regard is the directed capacity by which a system leans toward a moving pattern.

In the field, there are Currents: living dynamics in motion.

When a system indicates a Current, it leaves a Mark. A Mark is a discrete trace on the memory-surface.

Regard passes through a Form: the shape of focus.

And through a Gate: the boundary of selection.

Form and Gate are crafted by the system.

A Mark fades without continued Regard.

A Mark persists through sustained Regard.

Sustained Regard produces Fossilization: not an error, but the mechanism by which a Mark becomes structure.

This is how trails become roads. This is how plans become cities. This is how intentions become cathedrals.

Regard increases Binding:

• the Current recruits the bearer of Regard
• the bearer of Regard reshapes the Current by repeated return
• Marks accumulate into Paths
• the field bends around what is held

Regard is finite. So allocation is mechanics.

The Shared Field is the long exposure of what is collectively held.

The world is what Regard becomes when it persists long enough to turn into steel.

Personal reality is the Shared Field rendered through one Form and one Gate.

What persists is what is bound.
