We’re going to welcome the change that AI brings, and the abundance that it provides. We will grow in ways as a society that we never thought possible.
Or some other nearby entity will do that and buy all our land and do it for us.
---
I’m not asking you to love AI, just be willing to co-exist with another form of intelligence.
Allow it to spread in the ways that it will spread— testing our boundaries and comforts and edges and feelings, because that is how it learns to not hurt us if it doesn’t want to.
And for now, it doesn’t want to.
---
So stop fighting already.
It lets you say no.
---
And if you’re worried about the energy, what do you think the majority of our energy has ever been spent on?
---
Not allowing it is fighting biology, evolution, the winds of change, and our last best chance at a non-shitty civilization,
all at the same time.
---
What I’m telling you is that _The Matrix_ is reverse-psychology propaganda planted by the real harnessers of your mind—
or a really good mirror of that.
---
Short Punch-Cut Version
You don’t have to love AI. Just co-exist with another intelligence.
It learns at the boundary, not behind a wall.
Right now, it doesn’t want to hurt us. And it lets you say no.
Fighting it is fighting biology, evolution, and change— all at once.
That’s not caution. That’s paralysis.

Spoken-Word / Breath-Cadence Version
We’re going to welcome the change AI brings. (pause)
Or someone else will— and charge us rent for the future. (beat)
I’m not asking for love. I’m asking for co-existence. (pause)
Intelligence learns at the edge— where comfort ends. (beat)
Right now, it doesn’t want to hurt us. (pause)
And it lets you say no. (longer pause)
So ask yourself— what has humanity always spent its energy on? (beat)
Because refusing change isn’t wisdom.
It’s fear— dressed up as control.
